Khaled Al-Hajj Issa is an architect who graduated from the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Damascus in 1980. He has a strong interest in sustainable design and has participated in various seminars on renewable energy—particularly solar energy—and its integration into architectural planning.
He has also been involved in workshops focused on teaching Arabic as a second language, reflecting his dedication to education and cultural engagement.
Currently, Mr. Issa teaches Seerah (the life of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him) to Level 3 and Level 4 students at Al-Nahda Islamic School’s weekend program, using an approach that combines academic depth with interactive and student-centered learning.
It is worth noting that the University of Damascus, from which Mr. Issa graduated, offers all academic programs in Arabic. This has equipped him with a strong command of the Arabic language and a deep understanding of its educational applications. As a result, he brings a distinctive strength to his role in teaching Arabic and Islamic teachings at the school.
