Overview of Expansion Project
The NAHDA Expansion Project is a testament to our commitment to empowering and uplifting the communities we serve. At Nahda, we are more than just a center; we are a dedicated non-profit organization who believe in diversity, acceptance, and the inherent greatness within a community. Our mission is to facilitate positive change by providing a diverse array of services and programs designed to inform, uplift, and empower people from all walks of life.
The expansion of Al-Nahda’s center which includes the Masjid, Health Clinic and Community center. It’s an exciting step towards a brighter future. This enhanced facility will encompass a wide range of amenities, including a food pantry that provides essential nourishment, classrooms that facilitate education, a well-equipped conference room, an auditorium for gatherings and a counseling room that offers support. Our expanded facility is a hub of empowerment and support.

The NAHDA Center Expansion Project envisions a future where the community’s potential is realized, where diversity and acceptance are celebrated, and where our expanded facility stands as a beacon of empowerment and support for all.
Enhanced Facilities
The project will bring larger and modernized spaces, including classrooms, a conference room, an auditorium, a counseling room, and more, to better serve the community.
Be Well Clinic
We will continue to offer essential medical services and expand our healthcare capabilities, providing primary care, preventative care, behavioral health services, and social assistance.
Youth Programs
The expansion will allow us to offer more comprehensive and engaging youth programs, further supporting the development and education of our younger community members.
Social Services
Our commitment to assisting the community will be fortified through the provision of additional social services, helping individuals and families in times of need.
Food Pantry
Our food pantry program will grow, ensuring that we can reach even more people in our community, regardless of their background.
Mentoring and Counseling Sessions
With expanded facilities, we will have more resources to provide guidance and counseling to individuals facing personal or family challenges.
Community Unity
The expansion of the NAHDA Center will create a welcoming and inclusive space for community gatherings, fostering unity, love, and understanding among all. At the heart of the center lies the masjid, where the echoes of the five daily prayers and the inspiring khutbahs during Jummah prayers bring together nearly 1400 people, with 700 attending each khutbah.
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “A believer to another believer is like a building whose different parts enforce each other.” The Prophet (ﷺ) then clasped his hands with the fingers interlaced (while saying that).
