Salwa/ Food Pantry Program.
Founded in 2019 under the Al-Nahda Center, the Salwa Food Pantry is a
community-based initiative created to uplift and support individuals and
families facing hardship. What began with simple distributions of fresh
bread has grown into a comprehensive food program offering healthy, fresh
ingredients in partnership with local farmers and organizations. The
program serves low-income families and is open to all members of the
community, with a firm belief that true giving expects nothing in return.
The Salwa Food Pantry, a strategic program of the Al-Nahda Center, is rooted in the belief that life is a message of purpose. We serve our community with empathy, dignity, and unconditional giving. We don’t just offer food, we offer care, presence, and solidarity. Our goal is to strengthen human bonds, empower community, restore hope, and remind every person that they matter.
A compassionate community where giving is a way of life—where every individual feels seen, valued, and connected beyond material needs.
The program currently serves low-income families residing in the following villages due to limited resources:
Participants must register by completing an annual application, with regular updates as required.
Proof of residence within one of the listed villages is required. Supporting documents may be requested if needed.
Participants are expected to comply with the program’s guidelines and conditions to ensure continuity of service.
