“Whoever builds a mosque for the sake of Allah, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise.” — Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ)
The story of Al-Nahda began in the early 1990s with a group of pioneers who felt a deep responsibility to serve the growing Muslim community. What started as a vision for unity blossomed in 2014 with the opening of our center in Worth, Illinois. Today, Al-Nahda is more than just a building; it is a spiritual home for thousands and a trusted destination for families seeking enlightenment, education, and community support.
At the core of Al-Nahda is our Masjid. Every week, nearly 1,400 brothers and sisters gather for Jumu’ah prayers to hear the Khutbah and reconnect with their Creator. From the five daily prayers that echo through our halls to the late-night Qiyam in Ramadan, the Masjid is the spiritual engine that drives everything we do.
Our community is growing—Alhamdulillah—but our current space can no longer accommodate the brothers, sisters, and youth who seek to worship and learn here. We have reached a critical turning point.
When you donate to the Al-Nahda Expansion, you are not just giving money—you are planting a seed of Sadaqah Jariyah (ongoing charity). Every prayer offered, every letter of the Quran memorized, and every family fed in this expanded space will be a heavy weight on your scales of good deeds, Insha’Allah.
